Just as a virtuous man can know only the light when set against darkness, so the light of the Great and Holy crusade is best seen again the darkness of the enemies that abound. The holy light and great works of the Scarlet Crusade embarrass the mercenary guilds in the city and threaten the beast-race allies of the forsaken.

Being powerful in deeds and number we have attracted our far share of enemies within the city. Members are advised to beware the many roving bands of mercenaries and thieves that operate in the City.

We have previously faced regular attack from the now disbanded guilds: "The Order", the official guild of criminals "the People’ Militia" and "The State of Stormwind".

At the moment we are particularly harried by the mercenary guild that has taken control of patrolling the streets of the City called "Stormwind Night Watch" that seems to ebb and flow in its strength and standing. The Scarlet Mission continues to have diplomatic immunity from interference by this ill-organised guild, but our members must always be on the look out for unlawfull attack by their members. We are also on the lookout for "The Dark Embrace" a resurgent evil cult whose activity seems again on the rise.

The Scarlet Mission has previously been involved in the politics of the City. High Emissary Habeus had a seat in the House of Nobles as the representative of the Crusade in City affairs. Sadly folowing a directive from the Grand Crusader the Mission withdrew from the Assembly shortly before it was disolved by the King.

When dealing with Crusade enemies, members can be expected to be spat on, slapped or attacked. Members are to use whatever means are at their disposal to ensure those who wish the great crusade harm do not succeed....
